COVID-19: 2020 Season Updates

UPDATED 7 AUGUST 2020

For the first time in almost ninety years the Sydney Symphony has fallen silent.

Our performance schedule has been impacted significantly, and we regret that the majority of our concerts have been cancelled. We are planning our return once concert halls reopen and our community can safely share the power of live music once more.

Many of our community have donated their tickets back to the Orchestra and we are deeply humbled by your generosity and grateful for your expressions of support. With your help we can continue as a community of musicians and play another day.

Your options

If your concert has been CANCELLED your Sydney Symphony account has already been credited. Please consider donating the value of your tickets to help keep the Sydney Symphony alive. You can also use any credit towards later concerts, your subscription renewal or merchandise. If you are unable to donate or choose another concert, refunds are also available.

If your concert is RESCHEDULED your tickets will be valid for any of the rescheduled performances. Your seat will be maintained if you choose to attend on your original choice of day. We will contact you before new dates are made public. If you are unable to attend a rescheduled performance, please consider donating your tickets. Refunds are also available.

Whichever option you choose, there will be no additional fees and charges.

For more information, read our COVID-19 FAQs.
